Best Regards. If you have the specifications of your feed stream. Just pick the 3 phase sepeartor. Even though you don't have 2 phase flow stream as your problem is to sepearte the 2 liquids based on their density difference i.

This is an additional information,Instead to model the seperators in hysys by the hysys default method i. But we can simulate the sepeartors as Real seperators which will give an option to put the mesh pad thickness and all releted information. For further information ask Aspen Tech to give the pdf document which I got form their Knowledge database in their website. The results don't match with operational experience. All parameters including flow rates, separtor size is exactly the same as actual.

Can you please suggest me Property Package which should be used? Attiq Ahmad. Posted 19 December - AM You may used method as proposed by Padmakar by using 3phase separator.

If you are at design phase and getting to prepare specification for decanter spec. After that you prepare your decanter datasheet and sent to vendor to select a decanter good for the separation HYSYS is process simulator and has quite weak correlation in equipment sizing. If you provide some more detail flow rate, composition, pressure, temperature you might get more useful replies.

If so let me know because I never had EDC as component. I tried to find the EDC by using all the filters but I found ethylene chloride which I took for the dummy simulation. Waiting for your comment. You can look it up by formula. Sign In Need an account?

Simulation Of Liquid Decanter In Hysis

Thanks for the quick reply. The first thread deals with a different licensing package, that doesn't include simulation.

I'm using the WebPack license, which I believe includes simulation. I've already allowed Vivado to work through my firewall, and my antivirus software did not detect it as a threat. Are you facing similar issue with example design as well? Please try the steps mentioned in this thread and let me know your observations. After running Vivido in 32 bit mode, I encountered the same error when I attempted to run the simulation. What are the example designs mentioned? Is there a way that I can get a link to one of them?

I've been working out of a speedway tutorial book. I then used the manager to load the license, with the copy license option.

I am getting the message:. This may take some time. From which section of Licensing site, did you generate the license certificate based or activation based license?

Run pwd command in TCL console. The log file will be created at this location. Everything seems to be running now. I believe I accidentally downloaded one of the certificate based licenses for some other package. When I go to the product licensing page, the "actiavtion based" licences are all disabled, saying that I already used them.

I use it on Mac, so I tried a few VirtualBox Linux set-ups, and had to re-install things a few times. Sign In Help. Turn on suggestions.

All Rights Reserved. The second problem I have is that the sessions would not closed if a user logged out.

Aspen Plus V8.0 Tutorial - Getting started

Concerned are many apps like word and excel and our erp app. Thx for any suggestion Marco. I think it's a problem with the Userrights, if I insert the User to the local "Administrators" group he can open apps, but in the "Quickstart" "Licensing" tool, he's not shown. And in the "User Management" he's shown as "not licensed".

But I have started a application with this User. Why does he not consume a license if there are 3 available? Novell based accounts may have issues with acquiring and storing licenses.

CAE allows two administrative users to access the system without requiring licenses for handling configuration problems remotely. Then setup a "cron job" to syncronize the Domain Controller user accounts with your Novell infrastructure.

This will probably solve a lot of your problems in one go. Regards, David L. For a user to be successfully licensed, the following need to be true: 1. A concurrent user license is available this is what you're seeing via lmstat 2. The user is on the named user list. The user has to be listed here. As David says, one exception to the above is that CAE allows for a 'grace license'.

This allows an administrator to logon even if all licenses are consumed. I believe there may only be a single grace license. The grace license is not shown in lmstat or the named user list. This is probably why adding the user to the Administrators group is fixing the problem. However, in normal operation i. Cheers, Richard. Exactly that's the problem, only 2 Users are listed here, the "Admin" and one of the others. All User which are not shown, are in the following local groups: -Remote Desktop Users -Power Users How can I add a license for these Users if they are not listed in the "Licensing" tab?

Thanx Marco. Could you change this back temporarily to check that it isn't causing your licensing issue. Assuming that this isn't a Netware issue, the next step would be to check the license count in Quickstart and then check that the "Server edition" in the Access Management Console is set to "SMB" rather than Standard, Advanced or Enterprise.

Also, are there any event log entries corresponding to the logon failure? Thanks, David L. Sorry for that! I never would have thought, that this can be the cause. But if I change the gina back, my solution for my automaticly netwaremappings don't work anymore :- Hm, I try to publish the Netware Client as application, so the user have first to start the Client and authenticate them to the netware server.
